Following on from the UK release of JetBet, our Betfair betting software, the links we have on the Betfair BDP site mean that a growing number of international bettors have found the software, downloaded it and then started talking about it.
For instance, we started getting a lot of Italian users coming through and on investigation found that it was the subject of a forum post on Infobetting.com, an Italian betting forum. Having made contact with them, and discussed the matter internally, we have made the decision to support as many languages as we can with our software starting with JetBet. Due to the simple interface, it isn’t a particularly hard task to translate – the only issues come when we need to do the instructions, and pages for purchase as the language skillset within the company leaves a little to be desired!
So far we have identified French, Italian, Spanish, Portugese, German, Swedish and Australian as priority languages to put in place with a full suite of service on the JetBet site including dedicated landing page, translated instructions and emails along with JetBet itself obviously.
Additionally, we will be offering JetBet in all of Betfair’s supported languages, but without material on the website – this means that only the software will be translated, but due to it’s ease of use it should cause no issues to get to grips with. In the future we will hope to expand our support operation to cover all languages.
If you can think of any priority languanges that we have missed here please get in touch – and we are always happy for our site to be linked to in any forum discussions so we can get the word out faster about what we do.
Moving forward, Stakesoft’s other products will also be available in other languages – the first of which will be Steamerbot which goes on sale in January 2012. So watch this space!
